CalRx Insulin Affordability Press Conference / Senator Bill 40 

California Senator bill 40 refers to a recent bill, SB 40, passed and signed into law in California, which aims to make insulin more affordable for residents by capping the out-of-pocket cost for those with state-regulated health insurance at a maximum of $35 per month. The bill also expands access to affordable insulin by making low-cost, state-produced biosimilar insulin available through the CalRx program starting in January 2026.
